I love them boyfriend (and girlfriend) jeans, especially the ones so distressed there are holes in them. They fit loosely and relaxed, even seem like they’re a bit too large for you. They look comfy, but not super feminine. So how to make your outfit with these types of jeans a girly and romantic look? I have some ideas. Here are 4 ways to feminize your boyfriend jeans:

1. Add prints or patterns

Floral, leopard (like my heels), gingham (like my top), polka dots, you name it. Even a mix of them in an outfit is not a bad way to spice up the look and bring out the femininity! Have fun with the prints not only in your top, but also in accessories like shoes and bag.

2. Girly details

It’s a no brainer to add girly details to an outfit to feminize it. A bow tie on the waist, off the shoulder detail, a cute heart shaped necklace, etc. There isn’t a limit here. You don’t have to worry about making the outfit way too girly, because well you got the boyfriend jeans to balance it all out!

3. Bright colors

Add bright colors that you normally would associate with girliness: pink, yellow, purple, or a pastel tone. This brightens up the outfit and totally screams femininity.

4. Form fitting top

I assume the boyfriend jeans fit a bit baggy on you. To make the outfit well balanced, I would avoid baggy shirt. Try a top that ties at the waist, a peplum top, a form fitting bodysuit. Anything to exaggerate the hourglass curves.
