I’ve been quite obsessed with dresses that give my baby bump a little wiggle room. So when I found this darling dress I couldn’t pass it up because it’s tight at the chest then flares out, flattering on anyone pregnant or not. This She In embroidered dress is also so trendy right now. Everyone loves pretty embroidered floral details this season, and for $20 you definitely can’t go wrong. The one thing I have to say though, if you’re taller than 5ft3′ this maybe better as a tunic. It’s a bit short on me as a dress, since I don’t normally wear short dresses. So if you’re petite, you can wear it as a dress. If you’re taller, wear with leggings or shorts as a shirt.

Hope everyone’s Father’s Day weekend was amazing and that you got to spend quality time with your father or the father of your children. I had so much fun with the future daddy of my baby. I had gone to the doctor’s office for an ultrasound earlier last week. The ultrasound was to reveal gender but I wanted it to be special. So I told the doctor not to let me know and just write it in an envelope instead. That way I could open it later on Father’s Day with my husband. On Saturday, Dylan and I drove to a really pretty scenic spot in the mountains with the dogs. We sat down, and together opened the envelope.

I was in shock at first because all of my prior symptoms or old wives tales tests had been leading to the opposite. But then I quickly forgot about the shock and became very excited because it’s going to be a girl! I mean, talk about a girly girl’s dream to have a mini me to dress up and take with me every where I go. Dylan was thrilled too. He already got our baby a onesie with a skirt the following day (funny that was actually the first baby thing we purchased and Dylan was the one to get it). We told both of our parents and everyone was so happy. I seriously can’t wait to start shopping for this little babe. It’s going to be so much fun!
