It is our second summer living in Colorado, but I do not remember the first summer being this hot. The temperature gets to 100°F or even more these days. I remember when we lived in Texas, it reached 100°F and I could understand why, but Colorado? Sometimes when I’m outside, I just want to take off everything and just quit wearing clothes altogether. Can I walk around in bikini please? Jk, maybe I don’t want to do that either.
That’s why I think a little off the shoulder is something everyone must have this summer. From off the shoulder tops, to dresses, you need to own one piece, or fifteen (like me). Not only you could get a nice tan, wear your sun screen of course, but you also will look so cute, because who doesn’t look adorable in an off the shoulder?
I’m teaming up with Maddie from Chic on the peak today to show our favorite ways to wear off the shoulder trend since we both absolutely love this trend. I chose a darling off the shoulder dress with ruffles details in vintage floral print, worn with bright yellow earrings. And Maddie paired a hot pink off the shoulder top with a cute skirt and some espadrilles. Which of these is your favorite look?

I love hot weather but 100+ is HOT! You both look gorgeous and I love you in that red dress. We are headed for a weekend in Syracuse (?) visiting my new niece and it’s supposed to be in the 90s so I packed plenty of off the shoulder looks too.

I so agree, some days are so hot that you just feel like sitting in a pool.
Last 2 years were actually mild here. Before that we even hit 100 in Nov.
