What to wear to a summer wedding

Summer is another wedding season. I know a couple people who are getting married, congratulations. I’ve seen also many snapchats and Instagram posts of someone attending a friend’s or a relative’s wedding. So if you are a summer wedding guest, and are looking for a dress to wear to the occasion, check out this one I’m wearing. The spaghetti straps are perfect for the weather, and the lace is flirty and feminine. Also, this one is a dupe version of this designer dress which is sooo cute, but at the same time has the designer price tag of $480. This version I’m wearing is $29, comes in black as well. So what else can you ask for? This is the perfect summer wedding dress!

If you follow me on snapchat (“misslilyrose), you’d understand I’ve given in and gotten eyelash extensions. I love how they look and how little effort I spend on them when putting on makeup. However, I will tell you how high maintenance they are. I do feel like it’s almost a whole different lifestyle: you have to try to keep them as dry and untouched as possible. So basically take a shower with swim goggles on, wash your face with a washcloth so you don’t have to get water in them, no sleeping on your stomach or the sides, avoid hot tubs, sauna, hot yoga etc. But to be honest, I don’t sleep on my stomach, and I don’t go into sauna or hot tub often, so it hasn’t been bothering me too much. I will continue wearing lash extensions for a while longer and report back.

    Oh man! I love the look of lash extensions but I only sleep on my side so impossible. Plus, can you not go swimming in them? You look stunning in this dress and that is a killer deal. I’m going to have to check the company out.

      Thanks for the lovely compliment Hannah. And from what I know, you can go swimming, but of course not every day, and it’s better to wear goggles. It’s even suggested to wear goggles showering lol. It is pretty high maintenance 🙁

    The eyelash extension sounds a bit difficult, but with some time adaptable, I guess! The dress is super sweet, affordable and lovely! I loved the style! The red clutch is a great pop of color! You look sweet and beautiful as usual!

      For the first 3 days, you cannot get them in water. So I have to make a note to myself to wash my hair before my appointment, so then I can shower again 3 days later haha (gross but I only wash my hair like 2 times a week max). Then after that you can be a little less cautious, but still have to “baby” them. It takes getting used to I guess :).

So if you are seeking a dress to wear to the event, and are a summer wedding guest. This dress actually is flirty and pretty! And the cost is beaten by cannot.
