One of my favorite ways to style for a summer to fall outfit is to use fall accessories with dresses. Today I’m sharing 2 looks I styled with the Marc Fisher Gadri Pointed Toe Bootie. I’d say these are some cute transitional looks for fall style 2021.

These 2 outfits are both of the combination of dress with boots: first look is with a floral mini dress. And the second with a long sleeve floral maxi dress.

Fall transitional look 1: Cute fall boots with a floral mini shift dress

Cute and comfy, that’s what this outfit is. I’m pairing the Marc Fisher boots with this puff sleeve minidress from Madewell.

The small romantic floral print is so feminine and sweet. The three quarter length sleeve is what makes this dress a little bit more fall. Also love the pockets too!

The silk bandana scarf I added for a soft feminine touch and also acts as a summer to fall transitional accessory. It certainly adds a fun fall touch to the outfit.

Fall transitional look 2: Long sleeve fall floral maxi dress with ankle booties

I probably should have chosen a different (non-floral) pattern to style for the second look. But I do love floral, what I can say? An alternative title for this post could have been “fall floral dresses with ankle booties”.

This outfit features a long sleeve fall floral maxi with the same Marc Fisher suede boots. Another great summer to fall outfit look. Wear now as is, or add a blazer or leather jacket in the fall.

This maxi dress feels a bit more formal and makes a bolder statement with the larger florals. You can wear this look to a more special occasion, like fall wedding, wine tasting, date night, or for work with a blazer.

I added a wide-brim felted wool hat to this look to compliment with the ankle booties. Also since these pictures were taken outdoors with the beauty of nature, the hat gives it a somewhat western vibe and I’m liking it.

My thoughts on the Marc Fisher ankle booties

These Marc Fisher ankle boots are one of my favorite staple styles in my fall wardrobe. They feature a block heel, making them very comfortable to walk in. The heel height is 3 1/4″, that’s a versatile height. Not too tall, not too short, if you ask me.

The pointed toe elongate and make the boots more of a polished and sophisticated feel and look. And the shaft height is 4 1/4″. They cover just right above my ankles.

The boot is pull-on style, with elastic inset. No zipper means no extra hardware, and no worry about the zipper getting stuck or broken. No hardware also gives the boot a smooth and more chic and sophisticated look.

The Gadri bootie comes in an array of beautiful fall colors, with both materials suede and patent leather. You can choose these Marc Fisher boots from these colors: black or white kid leather, grey, brown and warm grey suede.

Because of its versatility, the Marc Fisher boot is certainly a repeat in my outfit styling lately. Ankle length is great as a transitional piece. Until the weather is chilly and you’re ready to go full knee length. But if the weather is warm on some days, you can still wear this style repeatedly in the fall.

So, if you are looking for a cute fall boot that is polished and chic and makes you stand out from the crowd, yet still comfortable, I highly recommend the Gadri boot from Marc Fisher this year.

Another great option from Marc Fisher that is very similar I recommend is the Alva boot, this style looks absolutely fabulous as well!

Anyway, I can’t believe we’re here, fall 2021. Transitional summer to fall outfits could be tricky, although exciting at the same time. It means we’re also transitioning our wardrobe into a new season.
