Hope everyone had a great long weekend and lots of fun celebrating the 4th of July. I’m sorry for lack of posting on Monday, I took the day off for America’s birthday hehe. We are also in the process of house hunting so I spend a lot of time these days looking on the Internet, driving around with my realtor and reading up on buying a first house. It looks like a whole lot of work ahead of us. Anyone has any tips for first time buyer?

For today’s post, I understand that black in this hundred degree weather might be frowned upon. BUT I love that this black scallop shift dress (c/o SheIn) is shorter and sleeveless. Also the scallop hemline and sleeve line are just too adorable and still summer appropriate. It’s a shift dress so there’s a lot of room to move around and feel comfortable in. I think it’s not a bad choice to pass up if you’re looking for a semi-formal wedding guest or dinner date dress. And the great news is it’s $23!

    I loved your dress, the hem is so cute! Your shoes and bag are also beautiful, they match the dress in a perfect way! You look fabulous as usual! Good luck about the house! Well, my tip is unless you have to compromise, stick to your list of desired features of the house – like a dream dining area, etc, if you like to throw dinner parties. If one thinks “I can fix it later”, this “later” takes years or never comes, so think carefully now, this is the right moment! Hope you have a very nice day!

      I’m wearing a size XS. But I suggest wear those little breast/nipple covers instead of a bra because the sides of the dress are cut low! Hope that helps
