Yay back to school season! I no longer go to school, but when I did, I actually enjoyed it. I loved school all the way through college and back-to-school season was my favorite. So exciting to see friends again, meet new teachers, and receive new schedule. And of course getting yourself ready is just as important. I’d love to show you today my favorite products to have radiant skin so you look your best version on your first day back to school. If you’re not in school anymore like me, no worries, it’s always okay to indulge on products that brightens your beautiful face.
I got all of these products at my local Target store. You can find them at the store’s Beauty section.
1. Clean & Clear morning burst facial cleanser
When I was in high school, I remember discovering this Morning Burst Facial Cleanser from Clean & Clear and it was seriously my favorite! For a couple reasons: the formula with Vitamin C and Ginseng is designed to energize skin. It has a fresh and yummy citrus fragrance to awaken the senses for an exciting start to the day. It is oil-free and has bursting beads to help clean your skin very well. I also love that after rinsing, it gives the best clean feeling.
Put a little bit (I use dime size) on your wet hand, rub them together to foam it up, and gently massage onto your face and neck. Then rinse thoroughly with water. Ah, I just love the clean feeling and the fresh scent!
2. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Toner
After you cleanse your face well, you need a toner to balance the pH level. Facial cleansers will always raise your skin’s pH level, due to the alkaline nature of soap. So you need to add toner to your cleansing routine if you don’t already. This toner by Neutrogena is oil-free, and it smells so good. It’s formulated to treat acne even before it emerges, and delivers a unique formula of skin-soothers, such as green tea and cucumber extracts to reduce redness and irritation.
Pour some into the palm of your hand and use fingers from the other hand to grab some product and lightly dab it on your face. You can also use cotton pads to apply the toner: pour some toner into the cotton pad and then wipe the pad on your skin. I like using my fingers, because I do not want to waste any product!
3. Aveeno positively radiant daily moisturizer with sunscreen
The next favorite product of mine is this Aveeno positively radiant daily moisturizer with SPF 30 to make you glow radiantly. It’s clinically proven to even skin tone and texture while reflecting light to visibly smooth imperfections. I also love that it has SPF 30 to help prevent premature aging caused by the sun.
I apply it onto my fingertips first, rub them together and then dab gently onto my face. Avoid pulling and tucking when applying moisturizer!
Now you’re glowing radiantly, and ready for your first day at school!
4. Clean & Clear oil absorbing sheets
Now that you’re at school, we need to also make sure you still look great throughout the day. But don’t you hate that 2pm feeling when your face feels super greasy? Pick up this convenient pack of oil absorbing sheets and have it ready in your backpack. It’s so quick and easy to just pull one out and dab on your T-zone until you feel refreshed. These sheets are smooth, flexible and they change color with use so you can actually see them working.
