It’s Christmas in July you guys (without the snow and the cold weather)! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the best sale of the year, yes it is. If you didn’t know about this sale, it is Nordstrom’s best annual sale and if you have been waiting to purchase something, now is the time to shop. So many good quality items go on big sale, including items for fall and holiday gifts. I do most of my fall shopping for myself and the husband during this time. It’s too good of a sale to pass up.

Why you should shop Early Access

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale doesn’t officially start until July 21 for the public. But you can shop it starting today if you have Early Access. See how to get Early Access here.

But why should you shop Early Access you ask? Why not just wait for public access? Well think of it as Black Friday. Why do people line up the night before in front of the stores to get door buster deals? Because you get first pick! If you like some items, chances are a lot of other people will too. If you think UGGs are good ideas to gift for the holidays, if you like to wear cardigans in the fall, and for a fraction of full prices, chances are the rest of sale shoppers have the same mindset. So if you wait till public access, that color option or your size is gone and you’re left with the unpopular choices. If you’re lucky, they may restock that item in the color you want in the size you need during the sale. But if it’s not restocked, you’ll be left with buying it full price when the sale ends.

So if you know you will be needing to buy fall clothing this year (men’s, women’s or kids’ clothing), maybe some early holiday gift shopping, it’s best to shop Early Access. Also, the sooner you place an order with the choices you want, the better. Trust me, I’ve shopped this sale, items don’t stay for long, not even when they’re in your virtual cart!

How to shop Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access

I personally am a card holder since last year and it made my sale shopping so much better. I found a pair of Tory Burch boots I liked for around $300 (full price was around $500), and I’m glad I got early access. You betcha it was a popular item and they ran out of my size quickly.

Like I said above, I love buying fall clothing during the sale for both myself and Dylan. So anything from booties, cardigans, cozy cute sweatshirts, mens sweaters, mens loafers are good items to buy. I also love taking advantage of the sale to purchase designer items that would normally be too expensive to get. Those would be designer jeans, handbags, shoes, sunglasses, jewelries. Although this year’s selection of handbags disappoint me, their shoes collection however, takes the sale to the next level. Stuart Weitzman boots on sale guys!
