Green lace dress

Chicwish Green lace dress

Chicwish Green lace dress Chicwish Green lace dress Chicwish Green lace dress Chicwish Green lace dress Chicwish Green lace dressI normally don’t like green, but this green lace dress you guys! Such a beautiful floral crochet dress from Chicwish that is perfect for this season of graduation, spring weddings, or even special events like a baby shower, birthday party, etc. It comes in white as well, which is quite a popular color option.

I saw this green floral lace dress first on one of my favorite bloggers when she wore it to her own baby shower. And she looked incredible in it. It’s obviously not maternity, but she was able to fit her cute bump under it. I figure because of the way the waist is higher, then the dress flares out, leaving room for the bump. So I was convinced to get the dress, maybe I can still wear it when my bump gets bigger because it fits a bit large on me. If you like the loose fitting (leaving room for extra tacos) then order true to size. You can see how it hides my little bump so well. But it does run a bit large, so if you like a snug fit, size down. I’m wearing an XS here, which is my usual size and it’s a tad big.

For the month of May, you can order select treats from Chicwish for 20% OFF, use code TRE20.

I’m not surprised you don’t like green color, because I feel like we are asian prefer red colors than green and also it is very hard to style on our skin tone. I’m in love with your dress, and it is soooo pretty on you. I also can’t believe the price on it, Chicwish is so affordable. I wonder if they ship to Tbilisi, Georgia. I’m going to browse their store this weekend, hoping I can find something colorful, since I am changing my closet to brighter colors.

This green lace dress is so pretty!! I’m totally with you. I don’t normally buy clothes in green, but sometimes we do need to venture out a little and this green is so pretty!! I would totally choose green over the white. I probably will get both of the green and the white actually. The white version will be suitable for all kinds of occasions. 🙂

Yay for Chicwish! They just have the best stuff! I love that you went with the color as opposed to the white because it looks SO phenomenal on you! And YES! The cut is perfect for a growing baby bump! I love the teal earrings you paired with it for some contrast and that you finished the look with neutrals! Perfectly paired together! Hope you have a beautiful week!

I don’t know why you don’t wear green more often, the color is stunning on you! And I had no idea you were even expecting – you don’t have a bump at all cutie! How exciting and a huge congratulations to you! This green lace dress is so darling and I love that you paired it with bright blue earrings. The colors together look beautiful. I need to check out Chicwish for some dresses for this summer! xoxo, Christine

Oh wow babe! Your complexion looks so good against green, even though I know you said it’s not a colour you normally gravitate to, it really makes you look so bright and healthy hehe.
I’m always a fan of lace and flared dress because it’s so feminine and makes me feel so girly. It’s definitely very flattering. Thanks for the heads up on the discount, will be useful <3!

Beautiful dress! Love its color, this green looks amazing on you. This dress is so pretty and feminine, lace has become one of the biggest trends during the season. It looks totally chic and sophisticated. I have found very good pieces at Chicwish, very nice designs and very affordable. So that means, that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to look gorgeous!

    Enjoy your day!

I on the other hand LOVE everything green and I’m glad you stepped out of your comfort zone and wore this beautiful lace dress. Sometimes you need to see it on others first to “dare” to wear it yourself and you made a perfect choice by going green. It’s so flattering and I’m sure it’ll be wearable even when your tummy starts growing a bit too. 🙂

✨ Wood signs for my little Prince baby shower ✨:

- I ordered custom adhesive vinyl decals to be printed for large dimensions (around 3-5 ft tall).
- Cut the shapes out, and trace the shapes on wood boards (I used 1/4” thick plywood).
- I put painter tape around the traced line to reduce wood chipping when cutting with a saw later.
- Cut the shapes on the wood boards with a jig saw.
- Brad nail leftover woods on the back to make a stand for the signs (some small pieces of 2x4 worked well).
- Apply the adhesive back of the art decals onto the wood signs.
- Enjoy! 🩵✨🎠

☺️ What I’d do different if I do this again:
1. The horse and carriage are ok, but I’d loved the castle to be taller.
2. Use foam boards instead of wood for lighter weight. Wood would be great if these signs will be outside where it might be windy, but for indoors event, I would do foam.

My birth story 🤰🏻:
I went to bed at 39w3d with contractions 10 minutes apart, but had thought they were faux labor contractions (because I had Braxton Hicks and prodromal contractions most of pregnancy) so I didn’t think much of it. I woke up at 2am and called my doctor at 4am since contractions were 7 min apart (still thinking they were not real 😂). Good thing she told me to come in. I debated if I should put makeup on and decided to not - wise decision! During the car ride, 7 min apart became 5 min apart. When we arrived at hospital, I was 6cm dilated. I asked for epidural and by the time I got one, I was 8cm dilated. I started pushing shortly after, and baby came after 20 minutes of pushing.
