During the vacation trip in southern California, I spent an afternoon visiting a boutique at Fashion Island in Newport Beach called Modern Romance. I met Theresa the boutique owner, a very sweet lady who introduced me to a new brand that she has recently just launched called Stevie Sister. I swooned over the cutest dresses from this line that Theresa designed herself, and I wish I could have had them all. Then I met Patricia, such a sweet girl, she helped me pick out this dress I’m wearing in this post and helped me style it with accessories. The boutique and everyone there gave me such a cozy and sweet southern Cali vibe. Thank you Modern Romance so much for having me and for the incredible shopping experience at your store!
About the brand, Stevie Sister is a “vintage inspired collection of contemporary body styles”. They had me at the “romantic floral prints” (I have such a weakness for floral print, I mean who doesn’t?), the soft, flow-y and flirty material is so adorable. This cute girlie style reminds me of a sunny and cozy walk on the beach. I adore it! And to celebrate this style, I chose to take my new dress to the beach for a fun photoshoot, because what is more fun and free than running around jumping the waves and letting the wind play with your hair and your dress? As you can tell from the pictures, it was quite a windy day and I thought the blanket scarf blowing in the wind was also a super fun idea. 🙂
