So I decided that yesterday June 24 from now on, will be my annual “Treat Yo Self Day”. 😁 I got the idea from Tom and Donna from Parks & Recreation. The idea is basically if you work hard for a whole year, save your hard earned money, on this day, you get to … treat yourself!! I get that we all buy ourselves things all the time to be happy, that’s called going shopping and going out to eat. But I’m talking about things that you don’t normally justify buying every day. Things you don’t actually need, but you think about when you wake up in the morning and wish you had it in your closet already! Buy yourself nice things that you have been wanting for all year long, treat yourself to luxury, relax and don’t feel too bad about spending money! You gotta treat yo self good before anyone does!! 😉 All year long, you buy others birthday gifts, anniversary gifts, wedding gifts, Christmas gifts, Mother’s and Father’s Days, Valentine’s Day, but you don’t see a “Buy Yo Self A Gift Day”, so I’m making June 24 my Buy Nice Things For Myself Day!! The reason why I picked June 24 is because it is also my work anniversary! I’ve been working my full time job after graduation for two years now. So I’m very justified to spend money on this day, because thankfully for this job that I work hard at, I can spend money to reward myself!
Last night, I told Dylan about my decision of making the day an annual “Treat Yo Self Day”, he raised his eye brow at me “Uh Oh! What damage did you do today?” Hehe, don’t you worry honey, I didn’t go too crazy ok? I only got something that I’ve been wanting for a long long time. Can anyone guess what it is? 😉
Anyways, how about this aztec print bodycon dress?
I braided my hair a couple hours before the photo shoot, trying to go for the wavy beach hair, but I’m not sure, I think the braids were a little too small, and my hair looks like I came from the jungles more than the beach 😅.
