How I grow my eyelashes with LiLash Eyelash Serum

January 10, 2020

*I was sent this product in exchange for this review. All opinions are my own.

I have been a LiLash Eyelash Serum user and lover for years. Yes, years! I took some time off while I was pregnant and breastfeeding. And honestly, I missed my lashes during that time. But once I was ready to use the lash serum again, I was so happy to see my long and lush lashes return. I’m so excited LiLash reached out to me to send me more of this magic product that I already use and love.

I’m partnering with LiLash today to share with you my journey with LiLash Eyelash Serum, and answer some FAQs.

Does LiLash work and how long until you see results?

Most asked question! Yes, #LiLashWorks! It’s the magic serum in a tube and honestly, I would not want to go without my LiLash. My lashes are noticeably longer and fuller. I get asked all the time if I’m wearing faux lashes or extensions. No, these are my real lashes, and they look amazing. All thanks to LiLash serum.

I started noticing longer lashes just about 2 weeks in. I kept using it and my lashes were amazingly full and lush after a month. It may take a different time for you. But if you keep applying the serum consistently and properly every night before bed, you will see results within 90 days! They also have a complete 90-day money-back guarantee.

Where to buy LiLash?

You can get your LiLash serum here on Cosmetic Alchemy’s website. The company name is Cosmetic Alchemy, and currently this is the only place where you can get authentic LiLash product. I suggest buying LiLash from this website only. If you find it at a different retailer for a cheaper price (could even be a trusted real retailer), it’s too good to be true!

You can tell counterfeits by checking for the hologram or the Authorized Stockist decal. See this page for more details. On that page, you can also find a list of REAL retailers that sell counterfeits for cheaper.

How long does a tube last?

There are 2 sizes, 2 ml tube and 4 ml tube. The physical sizes of the 2 tubes are the same, but the amounts of product inside are different. I thought to purchase the 2ml tube as a travel size, but realized it’s actually the same physical size as the 4ml tube. The 4ml tube says “XL” on the label (see image below).

I have used both sizes. The 2ml lasts me about 3 months, and the 4ml lasts me about 6 months! Since both tubes are the same in its physical size, getting the 6-month 4ml tube is much more cost efficient. Since the cost for the 2ml tube is $90, and the cost for the 4ml tube is $150.

How often should I apply LiLash serum?

It is recommended to apply LiLash serum to your upper lash line nightly for the maximum results. Here are my experience with the serum:

  • Your lashes are replaced by new lashes every 2-3 weeks. So if I stop using the serum for 2 weeks, the new lashes will grow to their normal length before use. So I make sure I never not go without LiLash for more than 2 weeks.
  • If I forget or skip a night or two of application, the next morning my lashes are still long and beautiful. So don’t panic if you have to skip a night or two. In fact, if you’re experiencing irritation during the first week, you should reduce the amount of application to 2-3x/week, and start back up again after.

Does it irritate?

I think it varies and is different for each person. I started LiLash treatment twice (once before pregnancy, and once after I was done with breastfeeding). The first time, I experienced slight irritation the first 2 times of applying LiLash. I reduced the amount of application to every other night instead of nightly. And then the sensitivity went away, and I started using it every night. The second time of treatment after breastfeeding, I just started using LiLash again with no irritation or sensitivity.

One thing worth noting I found from their website is that make sure you wipe any excess serum onto the tube before applying to your lash line. Too much product could cause irritation. The applicator is a very thin brush, it looks like a liquid eyeliner brush. So apply the serum like you’re trying to draw the thinnest liquid eyeliner on your upper lash line. No need to apply to lower lash line, blinking should transfer some from your upper lashes.

How did I know about LiLash? How did I get to work with LiLash?

Years ago before I was pregnant, I heard LiLash for the first time from another blogger I love. She has the most beautiful hair overall, and especially her lashes were gorgeous, long and thick! During a Q&A, one of her top asked questions was whether she uses a lash serum and which one. She mentioned LiLash and not even 5 seconds later, I was already browsing on LiLash website. Why? Because my natural lashes (without using any serum) are the thinnest shortest lashes you’ll ever see. To add to the sadness, they are stick straight without any natural curl in them, so no one would be able to see my lashes unless I close my eyes.

I have been obsessed with ways to make my lashes curled and stay curled, longer, thicker and fuller ever since I was a teenager. I will try anything to achieve the above for my lashes. And I cannot thank that blogger enough for mentioning LiLash! Although LiLash doesn’t help me with making my stick straight lashes curled, I still have to do that with a curler. But LiLash has transformed my thin and short lashes into beautiful, long and lush lashes. I always have this serum stocked, I don’t wanna go without it!

As I said before I’ve been using LiLash for a while, paying for it with my own money (not through any sponsorship). I did share about it on my Stories a few times, but didn’t tag the brand. Until one day, I decided to tag them. And lucky day, they reached out asking to send me a tube. I was so happy for their response to my mention, and of course welcome this relationship. It’s the best kind of collaboration when I already use and love the product.

I cannot recommend LiLash Eyelash Serum enough if you’re looking for a way to enhance your already beautiful natural lashes. And don’t worry, if you want to wear faux lash or lash extensions while using LiLash, it’s totally okay! So give it a try, you’ll notice longer fuller lashes and you can thank me later.

Wow Lilly! This product looks great! Has Tasha ever tried it? I’ve never seen a product that does this for lashes before, Thankyou lilash for supporting Lilly! This looks like an amazing product, especially if it really makes your lashes longer! What an amazing product, Lilly! You look beautiful, as always!

    Love always,

✨ Wood signs for my little Prince baby shower ✨:

- I ordered custom adhesive vinyl decals to be printed for large dimensions (around 3-5 ft tall).
- Cut the shapes out, and trace the shapes on wood boards (I used 1/4” thick plywood).
- I put painter tape around the traced line to reduce wood chipping when cutting with a saw later.
- Cut the shapes on the wood boards with a jig saw.
- Brad nail leftover woods on the back to make a stand for the signs (some small pieces of 2x4 worked well).
- Apply the adhesive back of the art decals onto the wood signs.
- Enjoy! 🩵✨🎠

☺️ What I’d do different if I do this again:
1. The horse and carriage are ok, but I’d loved the castle to be taller.
2. Use foam boards instead of wood for lighter weight. Wood would be great if these signs will be outside where it might be windy, but for indoors event, I would do foam.

My birth story 🤰🏻:
I went to bed at 39w3d with contractions 10 minutes apart, but had thought they were faux labor contractions (because I had Braxton Hicks and prodromal contractions most of pregnancy) so I didn’t think much of it. I woke up at 2am and called my doctor at 4am since contractions were 7 min apart (still thinking they were not real 😂). Good thing she told me to come in. I debated if I should put makeup on and decided to not - wise decision! During the car ride, 7 min apart became 5 min apart. When we arrived at hospital, I was 6cm dilated. I asked for epidural and by the time I got one, I was 8cm dilated. I started pushing shortly after, and baby came after 20 minutes of pushing.

It has been the best experience with recovery and breastfeeding I’ve had between the 2 children. And we can’t get enough of Mr. Colt’s smiles and snuggles 🧸.
