When PSL hit Starbucks back in September and the first day of 50 degree weather came, I knew I had to change up my summer skincare routine. But of course, procrastination. And now when November is almost here, it is time for sure I make a change to get my skin ready for the upcoming holidays. Today, I’d love to share with you my recent skincare routine. I’ll be featuring the Clarisonic Mia 2 device that I received for this review and sharing my thoughts on it.
As we all know how much I complain about the dry climate in Colorado, guess what, it’ll be even drier in the colder months. For me, the most two important things in a skincare routine for this time of year: gentle cleansing, and moisturizing. So when I received this Clarisonic Mia 2 kit to test, it couldn’t be more perfect. It is a sonic facial cleansing device with a gentle cleansing brush that can be detached for maintenance or replace. It feels so gentle on skin yet it does an amazing job cleansing! A-m-a-z-i-n-g! My face feels so clean, like way better than cleansing with my hands. It is nice and clean and ready to absorb the next products.
I listed my full regimen with the products I use below. But as far as moisturizers, I’ve been using this Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve cream and it’s so good. I also keep with me this Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar night cream. This renewed version smells and feels 100x better than the original version.
If you want to do early holiday gift shopping for someone, do consider this Clarisonic Mia 2 device. It’d make a great gift, especially for girls and guys who enjoy taking good care of their skin! There are also many gift set options. The device itself has a cleansing brush, and a magnetic charger for the handle. You can also get a set (like pictured above) that includes a foaming gel cleanser, a clay mask (that I use once or twice a week) and a cute travel case. This case is so helpful, it makes packing with my clothes and other items so much easier.
