We’re at the very last 3 days of the amazing Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, prices go back up Aug 8th! If you read my post on the sale shopping guide, this post is to follow up to show you what I’ve purchased and what I’m planning to snatch while the sale is still going on.

One of my weaknesses is shoes, especially when they’re on sale. But I did okay this year I think as I got them in a variety of styles and uses: flats, chunky heels, riding boots and rain boots. I already wore the below blush lace-up flats for a whole day of walking, and to be honest I wouldn’t walk for hours in them. I wore them on my day of traveling to Florida last week. I walked all day long in them, and even though I didn’t get any blister or hurt my feet terribly, I don’t think they’re meant for walking all day long. I still love the lace up and the blush color though. They also come in black and white, as well as suede in wine red and chestnut. I’m considering getting suede in wine red color.

These red rain boots pictured above have got to be my favorite rain boots from Hunter. Even though they come in black and navy as well, I think red is the cutest! Note they come in only whole sizes. On the site, Nordstrom will say to size up, but Hunter runs big, you need to size down! I’m a normal 6.5, and size 6 fits me great with a bit of room if I need to wear socks (is that weird to wear socks with boots?)

And what kind of shoe sale would it be if there isn’t Tory Burch riding boots? Got these black ones pictured below (only size 9 left now, but there’s also brown color) for $299 vs. regular price $495. They sit right below my knees and hold their shape well! I will be repeating them a lot this fall.

I’ve been looking everywhere for a casual blue handbag that I wear around town. Mostly because of the rest of my bag collection is pink, I need something on the cooler side. This Rebecca Minkoff bag ($264 after sale) reminds me of the Balenciaga City Bag minus the designer price tag ($2125), and the dusty blue is just so pretty. Lastly, I got a couple of sweaters for myself and Dylan. Not pictured here is this very soft sweater for Dylan, very lightweight so he would have to layer it when it gets chilly. It would make great holiday gifts as well. And I also got myself this cashmere sweater in 2 colors: stripe and red (perfect for holiday parties), and am considering getting one for my Mom. When cashmere is on sale, you can’t help but get it!

I also need to mention how awesome my parka coat is. It’s thick, and it has a kick-ass removable faux fur trim on the hood. Cold winter blizzards, I’m ready for you!
