Copper Cow Coffee – must gift to the coffee lover

December 16, 2019

*Thank you Copper Cow Coffee for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.

I’m so excited to share my review on Copper Cow Coffee, a recently new start-up that is changing the coffee game with their custom pour overs. I will also include the easy steps on how to make a delicious cup, and show you the ultimate gift set for a coffee lover from Copper Cow.

My love for Vietnamese coffee

Have you tried Vietnamese coffee? I maybe biased because I am Vietnamese but I love Vietnamese coffee. I love the delicious taste. There’s something about the bold and rich flavor of this pour over coffee that makes me feel so fresh and ready for a new day.

And because I love Vietnamese coffee so much, I was thrilled to find Copper Cow Coffee. They offer Vietnamese Pour Over on the go. That’s right. You can now have this yummy coffee anywhere, anytime! Perfect to have at a hotel stay, great for the office. Or if you just want to keep some around in your pantry at home. Coffee in bed for those lazy weekend mornings just became super easy, and there’s not a lot of cleaning up after.

Does Copper Cow Coffee taste good?

Yes, it tastes amazing! I grew up in Vietnam until I was 15. I didn’t drink coffee during my early teenage years there. However, I did occasionally taste my dad’s morning coffee. And Vietnamese coffee is a distinctive taste I would never forget. It’s bold and rich, and aromatic, and nothing like any other coffee.

When I tried Copper Cow Coffee for the first time, all the memories of tasting my dad’s morning coffee in Vietnam came back. It tastes just like that, delicious, bold and so rich. And adding the sweetened condensed milk to my cup, it’s just the right taste of “cà phê sữa” for me.

How to make it

I can tell you this, Copper Cow Coffee is much easier to make and clean up, compared to when I saw my mom wash and assemble all the pieces of the coffee dripper to make coffee for my dad (she still does). My parents are going to be thrilled when I introduce them to Copper Cow during their visit this holiday.

The steps are easy, you just need a mug and hot water.

  • Tear up the filter bag (and take a second to enjoy the aroma, it smells so good already!)
  • Lift up the paper wings on the 2 sides of the bag. Use them to hang over your mug.
  • Pour hot water into the coffee, 1 oz at a time, let it finish dripping (it’s quick, not like a traditional slow dripper). Then pour more water until you have the amount of coffee you need (3-4 oz for Vietnamese, and 8-10 oz for Americano).
  • Done! And if you don’t drink black coffee, squeeze some sweetened condensed milk that came with the coffee to your liking.

The ultimate gift from Copper Cow – Advent Calendar: 12 days of Pour Over Set

Anyone on your list who is a coffee lover? Maybe yourself? What’s a better way to gift that person a fun (and pretty) Advent Calendar set? With 12 sets of coffee + creamer combinations, they can experience the flavors of Copper Cow’s best pour overs and cult favorite natural creamers. The packaging is also really pretty with the marble and gold details, it’ll look so pretty on the countertop! I’m sure your lucky friend would be excited to wake up each morning to try a new delicious combination of coffee and creamer.

This Advent Calendar is $69 and includes 12 sets of a coffee + cream. You get Free Shipping, and if your oder is over $75, you can also get Express 2-day Shipping!

Copper Cow Coffee is changing the coffee game for me. Delicious Vietnamese pour over anytime, anywhere with virtually very little clean up is just too good. I cannot wait to show this to my parents, and get some for the pantry too. I think my dad is going to be hooked!

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site.

It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and
visual appearance. I must say you’ve done a excellent job
with this. In addition, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Firefox.
    Excellent Blog!

✨ Wood signs for my little Prince baby shower ✨:

- I ordered custom adhesive vinyl decals to be printed for large dimensions (around 3-5 ft tall).
- Cut the shapes out, and trace the shapes on wood boards (I used 1/4” thick plywood).
- I put painter tape around the traced line to reduce wood chipping when cutting with a saw later.
- Cut the shapes on the wood boards with a jig saw.
- Brad nail leftover woods on the back to make a stand for the signs (some small pieces of 2x4 worked well).
- Apply the adhesive back of the art decals onto the wood signs.
- Enjoy! 🩵✨🎠

☺️ What I’d do different if I do this again:
1. The horse and carriage are ok, but I’d loved the castle to be taller.
2. Use foam boards instead of wood for lighter weight. Wood would be great if these signs will be outside where it might be windy, but for indoors event, I would do foam.

My birth story 🤰🏻:
I went to bed at 39w3d with contractions 10 minutes apart, but had thought they were faux labor contractions (because I had Braxton Hicks and prodromal contractions most of pregnancy) so I didn’t think much of it. I woke up at 2am and called my doctor at 4am since contractions were 7 min apart (still thinking they were not real 😂). Good thing she told me to come in. I debated if I should put makeup on and decided to not - wise decision! During the car ride, 7 min apart became 5 min apart. When we arrived at hospital, I was 6cm dilated. I asked for epidural and by the time I got one, I was 8cm dilated. I started pushing shortly after, and baby came after 20 minutes of pushing.

It has been the best experience with recovery and breastfeeding I’ve had between the 2 children. And we can’t get enough of Mr. Colt’s smiles and snuggles 🧸.
