I’ve always found the Denver fashion scene so unique and interesting. I see pretty girls at the park wearing the prettiest dresses or amazing wide legged pants with super adorable fringe booties. I’ll be honest, there are a lot of styles that I wouldn’t wear myself, because I’m not a Denver native and it’s not a style that I grew up seeing and identify myself with, but it doesn’t mean I don’t love it on the girls here. But there are a lot of pieces here that I would 100% wear and love.
So I thought I’d start a new series of blog posts filed under Denver Style Edit, which will include the local Denver fashion styles that I found from local boutiques and designers here. If you’re looking for the best representation of Denver fashion, you won’t find it in this series, I didn’t intend this to be the purpose of these posts. This is only my own interpretation, my own take of styling Denver style pieces. However, I do hope you enjoy and learn a little bit about what Denver fashion has to offer.
The first style in this series is a perfect number for this warm weather, which I’m so excited about! The floral print and the teal color is just amazing. I love floral and I love a good soft maxi dress to not only look good but feel comfortable in as well. The ruffle can be worn under the arm or over for as cold-shoulder. Let me introduce you to Peach and Pepper Apparel, designed by the lovely Allison and made with love in local Colorado. And this dress I’m wearing is called Ruffle Maxi Dress in Floral. You can order it online here, or visit Shea boutique on Larimer St. if you’re in the area. Did I mention this dress is super soft?
So what is your thought of this dress, or of Denver fashion in general?
