Hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. We went camping in Moab, Utah for the whole 3 days, and needless to say, I was not given Internet access for 72 hours. The best feeling but also the worst feeling ever. That is partly the reason why I didn’t have blog post on Monday as usual. I panicked for a little bit but I figured, as a CEO of my blog, I gave myself Monday off. I hope you didn’t mind!
But I’m back now, this time with an exciting event for those of you in the Denver area. Come to Dolled Up For A Cause hosted by local fashion designer Salwa Owen this Saturday June 4th at Glamour Bar Denver. It will be a glamorous day of fashion, beauty, and purpose. The event will feature the latest trends, complimentary style consultations; light appetizers and desserts catered by Difranco’s, and mimosas. Have exclusive trunk show access, and be treated to beauty services by Denver’s newest and hottest beauty salon, Glamour Bar.
The event will include a doll drive for the organization Dolls For Daughters. Guests are strongly encouraged to bring new dolls to donate. For every doll (up to four), guests will get $5 to spend toward fashion or beauty treats. Guests may receive up to $20, $10 of which may be spent on fashion, and $10 on beauty. The goal is to collect as many dolls as possible to donate to Dolls for Daughters. The charity’s founder, Jessica Bachus, will be in attendance. Children are welcome to attend.
You can read more about the event, or get your tickets here. Tickets are $15-20 online, but will go up by $5 at the door, so don’t wait, spots are filling up fast!
And now, the following photos are a couple shots of me wearing 2 dresses from Salwa Owens collection. You can check them out here on her website.
So will I see you there on Saturday? Have you gone to a Dolls For Daughters event before?
